Veterans Day Parade

Veterans Coalition of the Crystal Coast
Presents

24th Annual Carteret County Virtual Veterans Day Parade,
Saturday, November 7-11, 2020

COVID-19 Disclaimer: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 federal, state, and local restrictions, the 2020 Carteret County Veterans Day Parade is cancelled.  We are planning to present a virtual Veterans Day Parade and hope that the many individuals and organizations that have participated in the past will return to support our 2021 parade. Thank you for your support and understanding.

On behalf of the Veterans Coalition of the Crystal Coast and the over 8,000 veterans of Carteret County, the public is invited to view the 2020 Carteret County Virtual Veterans Day Parade. The parade that is traditionally held in Morehead City will be put into a video for 2020.  The video is being put together by Jim Skelton and his wife Alex.

General Information

This parade was established to allow Veterans, Veterans Service Organizations, individuals, and any other group/organization the opportunity to remember and to honor our nation’s Veterans who have proudly served this country. This parade has grown from only a handful of participants to over 2,000 participants honoring our Veterans and is the largest Veterans Day Parade in North Carolina. We understand the importance of continuing with this time-honored tradition even during these uncertain times.

THANK YOU FOR HONORING OUR VETERANS AND HELPING MAKE THIS A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR ALL!

We encourage all participating organizations/groups to donate $25 (or any amount that you can afford).  Donation is not required to participate. Your donation will go to the Veterans Coalition of the Crystal Coast for Veteran Suicide Prevention Programs. All donations are made through the American Legion Post 46 and are tax exempt.
